One of the greatest things about attending K-State is the people I meet. It's gets even better when I can share my love of Eastern Oregon and FFA with these people. Jared Mumm hails from Twin Falls Idaho and served as Idaho FFA State Sentinel a few years before me. Needless to say we have a few things in common ;)
He also happens to be a heck of a livestock judger. When in the ring or on the microphone his passion for working with kids and livestock collide and he is happier than a clam.
Lucky for me I got to tag along on one of his recent adventures in the show ring. Out in Osage, Kansas he judged the county fair hog show and I sat ringside, camera in hand.
Root beer floats were the perfect ringside treat!
This little girl couldn't have been more than four years old. She showed her Hereford pig in the open class show! What a cutie!
Thanks Jared and Osage County 4H for such a great show!
